What is Seeds?
It's an unfortunate truth that many Christians are not comfortable speaking publicly to others about Jesus. While this is understandable given the intimate nature of faith, the Bible clearly states that we are all called to share what we've found in Christ, so that all may be saved. Jesus died for everyone.
Romans 10:13-14 says: "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?"

The mission of Seeds is to offer the many Christians who find themselves faltering when it comes to sharing the good news an alternative way to evangelize. It allows you to plant powerful seeds of Truth with anyone in your daily walk, while letting you remain as hands-on or hands-off as you feel comfortable with. It also holds you accountable to yourself when it comes to fulfilling your sacred duty and privilege of sharing the message of Christ. We do this by challenging you to sow just one seed of faith per month, and we made it as easy and effective as possible!
Seeds is a subscription service that each month sends you a carefully curated kit made up of two distinct parts. The first part is why we began Seeds and what we're most excited to share with you now. This is the part designed to help you remain obedient and committed to sharing the Word with others, and we present it to you as a mission (an easy one!) As a task. A goal. It's the Seeds Bag! A prepackaged seed of faith, ready to be planted in the heart of a member in your community, no big speech required. We designed it to be just as appropriate to give to a co-worker or neighbor as it would be to a stranger on the subway or the cashier at your local grocery. If you choose to, you can give it with an explanation and go through the Bag together. If that sounds.. less than Heavenly, simply hand it to your chosen recipient with a smile and a "God Bless" and consider the seed sown.
The Seeds Bag comes with several thoughtful Christian gifts guaranteed to brighten one's day as well as a lovely 8"x5" copy of The New Testament, printed in easy-to-read, modern English. We've also included a pamphlet with an excerpt from Truth in Christ written by Charles Rice that outlines the 7 main arguments supporting the existence of God. It's an interesting read and should inspire even a secular person to rethink their worldly views.
Many people have been brought to the light simply by being invited to a religious service. It can feel intimidating walking into an unfamiliar church for the first time. If a person doesn't know they are welcome and wanted there, how can we expect them to take that first important step toward achieving salvation? For this reason, each Seeds Kit includes a blank invitation that you can fill in with your church's information. This small act not only adds a personal element to the gift, it demonstrates obedience to the command found in Hebrews 10:24-25: "Let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near."
The focus of the Seeds Bag is more about quality than quantity, which makes this approach to sharing the Word different than just handing out gospel tracts. We believe that one well-placed seed, fueled by love and grounded in the Word, can begin a journey in faith with incredible reach. Jesus Himself tells us this in the Parable of the Mustard Seed: "The Kingdom of God may begin as tiny as a mustard seed, but once it is sown in a field, it can grow into a tree large enough for birds to perch in." (Matt. 13:31-32) Each item in the Seeds Bag has been chosen with love to be something one would appreciate and enjoy. Keeping even one token nearby will encourage the recipient to keep the message on their mind as God works on bringing it alive in their hearts.
The other side of the Seeds Kit is for you! Each month will bring a surprise gift to help nurture your faith and aid in devotionals while keeping your fire for sharing the Word alive within you. The "To Keep" side will feature different items each month, so you'll never know what to expect. Think of it as a little bonus for the good you're bringing into the world.
Seeds is a subscription, which means you'll get it automatically each month. There's no contract, so you can cancel anytime. We designed it to be a subscription as a way to encourage the many Christians that need encouragement to stop making excuses or putting off sharing their faith with those around them. (It'll be difficult to deny once those Seeds Bags start piling up!)
We just want to help. If every Christian did their part and once a month simply gave someone a Bible or invited them to church or just passed on some of the love we've been given through the Holy Spirit with someone you've never met, Christianity would be thriving today. I
